A few days ago, sharepics appeared whose look was based on AfD posters. The statements on this provoke many reactions on social media.
The summary of the “We will hunt them” posters:
The posters are based on the look of the AfD publications, but do not come from the party. The statements depicted reflect sentences or, in some cases, correspondingly abbreviated statements from the politicians depicted.
In the wake of the state elections in Hamburg and the terrorist murders in Hanau, Sharepics appeared on Facebook in the form of posters with some racist messages. The posters contain the colors of the German flag, as well as the typical blue that the AfD uses on its posters. At the center of these sharepics is a statement, next to which a politician is pictured.

The statements are mostly racist in nature, but are often reminiscent of expressions from the Nazi era. The politicians pictured are members of the AfD party.
“If a Negro coughs on me, I have to know whether he is sick or not sick.”
The Sharepics (often called “tiles”) are not original AfD posters. These are deliberately designed graphics that are intended to be reminiscent of the party's posters.

Posters: Where do the statements come from?
However, it is unclear where the statements come from. This question can be answered quite easily: The posters are already several months old and come from an online campaign called “We will hunt them”, based on a statement by Alexander Gauland .
“We will hunt them” is a page on Facebook that publishes sharepics showing statements from politicians and AfD officials. In an earlier fact check about these sharepics we wrote:
Even if the Sharepics visually resemble the layout of the AfD publications, the party has nothing to do with the Facebook page “We will hunt them”.
[…] there is at least one source reference for every contribution. However, this cannot be found in the description of the sharepic or on the sharepic, but rather as a comment under the sharepic.
Either there is usually a direct reference to the source or to relevant secondary literature.
Currently these are re-uploads of the posters that are being distributed. The originals are on the “We’ll Hunt Them” Facebook page. This is not entirely unimportant, as the links to the origin of the quotes are there.
Important note: Not all posters contain 1:1 quotes, like the example image. Some of the sentences are shortened accordingly or come from sayings.
Behind this page and the posters are the “Hooligans Against Sentence Construction” (HoGeSatzbau). The posters were intended to clarify the politicians' statements and visualize them accordingly.
