Since yesterday (April 25th) a status post has been making the rounds on Facebook.
To see a cat that was hit by a crossbow arrow! There was massive questioning as to whether the photo was real or staged.
Red on the red – cat intentionally injured. An unknown person injured a cat with an arrow on Sunday.
A tabby cat was so badly injured by an animal abuser on Sunday that it had to be euthanized. The animal ran onto a woman's property on Eulentaler Weg in Rot an der Rot around 8 p.m.
The witness found that the animal was seriously injured. An arrow was stuck in the gray tabby's body.
The woman took the animal to a veterinarian. The cat could no longer be helped there. He had to be put down.
The police in Ochsenhausen (Tel.: 07352/202050) are now looking for the unknown shooter.
According to the police's initial findings, the red arrow was probably shot from a crossbow. The arrow is made of aluminum and has a removable tip and pink-yellow fletching. Further information can also be found on the Ulm Police Facebook page
