“This tip can save LIVES!” shouts the introductory sentence of the meme.
The picture shows a headrest of an unspecified car; a red arrow points to the headrest rods, which are inserted into the seat. The meme itself then conveys a thesis that needs to be questioned:
Imagine you have an accident and you slowly sink into the water or the car starts to burn. You try to get out of the car as quickly as possible, but the doors won't open. Headrests are designed so that you can pull them out to break a window with the bottom end.

And, already shared and now get a new feeling of security with this information?
Well, then you've probably never removed a headrest while strapped into the driver's seat and just been in a (probably more serious) accident. A car caught in water or caught on fire does not mean a situation in which you just pull out a headrest. Imagine the car is upside down!
In addition, if you have sports or bucket seats in your car, you don't have to worry about it, as nothing can be pulled out.
But let's get back to the emergency, in which you would first have to unbuckle yourself and turn around. Half a turn should be enough if you remove the headrest from the passenger seat. Now it's time to pull out this support. The prerequisite would be a button to release the engaged supports; some cars do not have a button but a different mechanism.
Then you have to pull evenly on both sides, otherwise the frictional resistance becomes so high that you can't even get the headrest out. Since you don't always pull completely straight either way, there is always frictional resistance and you have to jerk a little when pulling.
Nonsensical meme
And now comes the real disappointment: If you can pull out the headrest at all without having to adjust the seat again, you may end up with rounded ends. A not particularly handy headrest with rounded ends is not exactly the ideal tool for breaking windows while sitting in the car. It should certainly work and if all the requirements of the vehicle are suitable, you could certainly destroy the window with it, but
a) headrests were definitely not designed to break a window with the bottom end (as the meme says), and
b) the end does not give the impression that it can effectively break a disk when compared to a disk hammer.
c) sometimes you should simply keep your hands off the headrest if it is connected to the vehicle's safety systems. Electrically controlled supports, as well as supports connected to the airbag system, cannot be pulled out easily.
Don't rely on the meme!
Of course there will be vehicles where this works. Clearly. But the meme's suggestion that a headrest is automatically an emergency tool and that you can rely on it is only a false security and cannot help at all in case of doubt. The whole thing shouldn't happen quickly, as the meme says.
If you really want to be on the safe side, equip your car with a disc hammer that can be quickly accessed in an emergency.
If you like, you can also leave a fire extinguisher in the car... it was because of the fire.
