The mnemonic “RESPECT” consists of seven simple steps that you can remember to surf the Internet safely.
Calm – keep calm and block
If someone gives you trouble online, stay calm. Ignore them and block them. You don't have to endure it.

S – take screenshots
If you're being bullied, take screenshots. This is your proof.
P – maintain privacy
Be careful about what you share online. Do not give out personal information such as address or phone number.

If you see someone else being bullied, don't share it or join in. It's not okay.
K – an inappropriate photo
Be careful with the photos you share. Don't share anything you don't want to share with the world.
T – report participation
If you're being bullied, report it to the website or app where it's happening. You can help stop it.
