Now between us: It's actually already in the picture...
I took the trouble and looked: We have almost 30 articles that are about “quote” memes that have the note “In Satira (veritas) by Uwe Ostertag” in the lower right corner. These pictures all have something in common: a) They are fake and b) People comment on them badly and spread them as “true”.
Like this new meme, which depicts Jens Spahn and shows the following text:
The fear of knife attacks is just as unfounded as the fear of the dentist

No matter how people feel about Jens Spahn, he never said this sentence! Incidentally, this sentence is not the first “quote” that was put into Spahn’s mouth, even though he never said this sentence ( compare ).
Uwe Easter Day!
Here, too, we repeat: Uwe Ostertag is, according to his own statements, a (full-time) troll who knows how to take up current topics and knit “quotes” from them that could definitely pass as “real”. And this is exactly where the crux of the matter lies - because the line between incitement and satire is thin and Ostertag has already had to answer in court .
His memes keep floating around the internet, and people argue about them with considerable vehemence. On the one hand, you will find well-known personalities from politics and the like who are being given a false quote, and on the other hand, you will usually find (unless it is intentionally removed) the imprint “In Satira Veritas by Uwe Ostertag”. = “The truth lies in satire,” is Uwe Ostertag’s motto. The truth has now been left behind, the inscription on his more recent products simply reads “In Satira”.
