The Schleswig-Holstein consumer advice center advises not to pay the reminders from the Mainkas Solution Group!
Many households in Schleswig-Holstein are currently receiving threatening mail from the Mainkas Solution Group . These are fake debt collection letters. Consumers should not pay under any circumstances and can ignore the cover letter.
In the letter with a personal address, the senders demand 285 euros, which should be transferred to an account within three days using an enclosed transfer slip. The subject line says “1. Reminder – Class Actions – Announcement of Compulsory Enforcement”.
After many consumers in Thuringia, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania were unsettled by the letter, it has now also reached the north.
Sender threatens foreclosure and seizure
The sender claims to be soliciting open contributions from their customers on behalf of several profit and magazine publishers. This is followed by the threat that if payment is not made, the total claim of 760 euros would be due. At the end of the letter, foreclosure, the seizure of future pension rights and a Schufa report are announced.
Don't be intimidated and don't react
The sender apparently aims to scare consumers and pressure them into paying.
“This is a blatant scam,”
said Dr. Boris Wita, lawyer at the Schleswig-Holstein Consumer Center.
“Anyone who receives a letter like this should not respond to it.”
