What happened? When Mario Barth and two colleagues in a six-passenger compartment on Deutsche Bahn were asked about the mask requirement, he said: “ I thought masks were over since April. ” In a conversation with a conductor, Barth assumed that he was completely right and that he was ultimately allowed to do so You can do whatever you want when it comes to wearing masks.
Note: Even if the Corona restrictions are gradually falling, a mask requirement still applies on public transport in Germany!
“ Deutsche Bahn says, keep your masks on, you assholes ,” the comedian could be heard further in his video ( 2:33 ). Barth also uploaded this to his YouTube channel.
The comedian was unreasonable and described the action as completely excessive.
During the discussion, Barth tried to explain to the conductor that he would only take off the mask to drink because otherwise it would “get wet”. The conductor found the conversation less funny and expelled Barth from the train. Some fans also reacted critically with comments under his post, such as “So far I thought you were really good – so far. If you think that as a celebrity you can do anything, then I almost feel sorry for you. Employees who ridicule their work, threaten to hire lawyers and support the lateral thinkers in such a way is not acceptable. I was a Mario Barth fan for the longest time.”

Deutsche Bahn also reacts to Barth's video and allegations
“Mask requirement on our trains, you know?” the Deutsche Bahn Instagram account alluded to the comedian’s statement. ( Here )

A spokesman for Deutsche Bahn told T-Online : “The statutory mask requirement applies on our trains. This also applies to Mario Bart h.”
