Under the guise of official Meta Business Support , a Facebook page is trying to lure innocent users into a trap. This is a perfidious trick that aims to install malware on users' computers.

Supposed “Meta Business Support Page Verification Tool for Companies” turns out to be harmful malware and adware
The site, called " Meta Business Support" , was originally created in 2011 under the name " Eternamente Dalila changed the name in May 2023 We assume that this page was taken over by unknown persons in a phishing attack.

UPDATE! There is now a new advertisement from the fake “Meta Business Support” site! In this the user is offered a “Facebook advertising manager”!

Here too, a file is downloaded which also contains nefarious content

It's just crazy, and we at Mimikama would like to point out how disturbing it is that Facebook allows someone to impersonate "Meta" and even run advertisements in their name.
This practice can easily make unsuspecting users fall victim to malware and adware. It becomes even more worrying when you consider that Facebook actually makes money from this nasty scam.
The ads served by the fake “Meta Business Support” page generate revenue FOR Facebook, even as they help spread malware. This raises serious questions about Meta and Facebook's controls and priorities. Where are the controllers who should stop such fraudulent activities? Why do Facebook's own fact-checkers seem to miss these obvious scams? The need for more control and better security measures is obvious. It is imperative that Facebook take stronger measures to protect its users from such scams. Until then, it is up to us Mimikama to remain vigilant and uncover such practices to protect other users.
