How does it all work?

You might think it's a sophisticated hacking technique. But the reality is shockingly simple: The scammers send messages threatening that the account will supposedly be blocked. The attached link leads to a fake Facebook login page. Many users fall for this and enter their data there. Boom! Your account now belongs to someone else.

If you search for this name on Facebook, you will be flooded with a flood of profiles and pages that all have this name. What was once a unique name is now the hallmark of a scam.
