Just yesterday we warned about the WhatsApp fake competition. WhatsApp users were and are being lured into a trap under false pretenses. Fraudsters pose as “MILKA” and promise users a Milka Easter gift basket. However, this is not true. ( We reported on this in detail here )

Now Milka itself speaks out on this topic and writes that these actions did not come from Milka and that the “Milka” brand has no connection with it.

Warning!

Consumers are often informed of false Milka competitions in various media! These are click baits that lead to a competition. These actions are not from our company. Our Milka brand has no connection with these competitions. Their sole purpose is to obtain personal data in order to subsequently contact the participants.

What consumers should pay attention to:

Milka or Mondelez International competitions that take place on www.milka.com / www.milka.de / www.milka.at or other Milka websites or are offered on our social media channels ALWAYS contain associated conditions of participation, data protection regulations and an imprint , in which the Mondelez International company responsible for the campaign is specifically named. Examples of correct senders of the competition include:

– MONDELEZ DEUTSCHLAND SERVICES GMBH & CO: KG
– MONDELEZ EUROPE SERVICES GMBH – AUSTRIA BRANCH

If the sender is not MONDELEZ, if the information is not clear or is missing, we strongly advise against providing personal data!
