The claim
Apparently there are only 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays in a month every 823 years, which according to Feng Shui rules is a “money bag”, which is why you have to post the text on Facebook in order to get money.
Our conclusion
Depending on the leap years, there is an October every 5 to 6 years with 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays. This has nothing to do with Feng Shui at all.
There is esoteric nonsense like “ paint-on homeopathy ,” which can even be dangerous if an illness is not treated, and there is harmless, esoteric nonsense that is “just” wrong and, at most, clogs up the Facebook timeline.
This includes the “money bag” – an alleged Feng Shui rule that says that you should post a text as a status in order to get money. “It can’t do any harm”? Then why does it give me a headache?
The alleged “money bag”
It's about this claim, which is currently being heavily posted on Facebook:

“I'm not superstitious, but the fact is that this year October has 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays. This only happens once every 823 years and is called “money bag”. Copy this into your status and within 4 days you will receive money according to Chinese Feng Shui. If you don't copy it, you won't get any money. I can't risk coming away empty-handed. Copy this text within 11 minutes. Better safe than sorry ;-)) That’s what I was told too…”
Understood? So a copied text that describes an alleged calendar phenomenon is supposed to bring money according to Feng Shui rules?
Why do so many believe this?
Only every 823 years? Nonsense!
There is only one fact in the postings: In fact, this year, in October 2022, there are 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays. But that was about it.
If you're bored, you can flip through a calendar, but we'll tell you: The last time there was a "money bag" (which doesn't really exist) in the calendar was in October 2016, in the October 2011 and in October 2005, and the next one comes in October 2028.
Do you notice anything? The magical Feng Shui “money bag” does not come every 823 years, but every 5 or 6 years, depending on the leap years.
announced in October 2016, the last “money bag,” that it would happen again in October 2022, because of course the claim was also going around on Facebook at the time. And we will meet her again in October 2028, we are sure of that!
“ That’s what I was told too… ” write many creators and they certainly didn’t just copy it!
Well, of course we have to capitulate: probably all calendars are just wrong. #LIECALENDAR
