And again it is a warning with a picture of a delivery truck that has caused many people to worry on social media.
This warning concerns a blue delivery van whose driver is said to have almost kidnapped a child in Schochwitz, Saxony, in September 2019.
This blue van can be seen in a photo including the license plate; this photo is described by a long warning about the alleged kidnapper. Although it asserts that it is not fake, the police ended up saying something different:
[mk_ad]
Hello everyone,
please spread the word:
Yesterday at noon the (approx. 8 year old) daughter of one of Chrisi's colleagues in Schochwitz was almost kidnapped. A woman with a blue turban and a red dot on her forehead (similar to Indians?) reached out to her from a blue bus, held her and tried to pull her into the bus. The bus had previously surrounded her, but she was able to break free and escape. A second person jumped out of the driver's door but didn't run around the car fast enough. She was extremely lucky, but now she doesn't dare leave the house anymore. ? The police know about the incident.
Please warn people around. ? ?Ps before anyone arrives for the source or lie, the acquaintance of a colleague (work) is NOT FAKE ❗❗❗❗❗
UPDATE
The perpetrators have been identified, the police will be informed and if nothing else happens then (I won't say here)...
Thank you for sharing, you are great and whoever has children pays attention to your children ? ❗

The fact check
The colleagues from Correctiv have asked the police about this. The police's answer is clear: the description is known, but there was no attempted kidnapping.
“The circumstances described were reported to the police, but did not happen as described in the post on Facebook. This was confirmed by interviews with the family concerned.”
The entire Correctiv article, including the full statement from the police, can be found HERE .

Always delivery trucks
In the past there have been a number of postings and photos in which delivery trucks and their drivers were portrayed as alleged kidnappers. These postings often turned out to be false observations or slander. Innocent people were repeatedly suspected, some of whom were even publicly ostracized ( compare ).
Nevertheless, the police have tips on what to do if the worst comes to the worst. You should therefore sensitize your own children to such extreme cases:
be vigilant,
do not engage in conversations with strangers,
go to school with friends or at least in a group,
note the license plates of suspicious vehicles and report them to the police.
If you speak suspiciously, move on and ignore the person, in an emergency, call loudly for help,
inform the parents or teachers and the Notify the police.
Never get into other people's vehicles!
