Sometimes people get bored and try and film unusual things. But sometimes help is also provided.
For example, there is a short video with a paper airplane that is surrounded by several fans so that it seems to circle endlessly in the air current. The video was distributed again just a few hours ago:

However, this video is by no means new, it is just being distributed again on various channels for unknown reasons. The video appeared on YouTube in 2017:
The fact check
What stands out in the video: Although it is certainly conceivable that a perfectly built paper airplane would sail on the air currents from perfectly placed fans, there is a small detail in the video that is suspicious:
The two large fans swing slightly back and forth, so the direction of their air flows changes slightly, but the paper airplane still sails a perfect path round after round, which cannot be possible unless the movements of the fans have become absolute perfectly included.

When something is too perfect...
...sometimes there is something else behind it. And since we at Mimikama can't just enjoy a viral video and keep scrolling, but always want to know the background, we looked a little deeper for the origin and found:

on Vernon James Manlapaz's verified Instagram account on September 4, 2016. He tagged the video with two hashtags that provide more clarity: #magic and #magicvine.
“Magic Vine” is about videos that look like magic but have been digitally edited. The term was coined by Zachary Michael King , who became known through such videos on the “Vine” platform. In addition to the paper airplane video, there are also many other fascinating little films on the “vernbestintheworld” Instagram account, but they are all just digital magic: Magic Vines.

Conclusion
And once again we spoilsports struck mercilessly: Unfortunately, the video is not real.
But if any of you are bored, you can now try to make a paper airplane fly so perfectly with all the fans that have been gathering dust in the room since the fall.
We're excited to see who will succeed without digital tricks!
