Social media is always very exciting because you never know exactly what will happen next!
Are children supposedly being kidnapped again in white vans and disemboweled in Eastern Europe, or could Bill Gates, together with Facebook, once again donate $1 per like to a supposedly sick kitten?
You simply don't know, that's what makes it so incredibly exciting. And today... tadaaa... there was a lot of interaction with the old Tesla fake again!

We therefore take the liberty of repeating the old article at this point.
Tesla charging station with large diesel generator?
The electricity for the electric vehicles also has to come from somewhere, even if it is the hamster's running wheel that produces the electricity and the hamster blows out CO2 when it exhales. All the more interesting, even bizarre, is a photo that has been increasingly discussed in recent days: Is Tesla building diesel engines next to the charging stations?
The sharepic, which was originally on Twitter but can now also be found on Facebook and has now reappeared , shows two charging stations and a container-like structure with a chimney in the background. According to the accompanying status text, you can see the Tesla charging station at Warberg Castle and the container is a large diesel generator that supplies the electricity. So much for the topic of ecological balance... if this claim weren't fake.
About the facts:
The charging station itself is real. This is a station with two connection points (with up to 17kW each). These are at the Hotel Burg Warberg in 38378 Warberg ( compare ). But… and this is ultimately a fake, the container has absolutely nothing to do with the charging stations. It is also not a diesel engine!
We received an answer to this a long time ago from the Federal College Burg Warberg eV, which described exactly what the container was:
Dear Mr Andre,
Thank you very much for your email. Unfortunately, we have been confronted with this claim and the image in the last few days. We can deny this.
The building is a container. There is a pellet heater in this container. This is used in winter to heat Warberg Castle. Because the basic performance of our heating is not always sufficient. In summer, the container is placed in the outdoor pool and the water is heated.
Was I able to answer your questions? Otherwise you would be happy to come to me again.
With kind regards
Let's see when this fake is next on Facebook more widely.
