Telephone rip-off in January 2023! New Year New luck!
At least that's what many spam callers thought when they tried to entice people last month with supposed competitions (01637875622). Much to the annoyance of those affected. The increased energy costs were again used as an excuse to conclude apparently cheaper electricity tariffs (022166951485). The intrusiveness of the callers knows no time off and sometimes causes dissatisfaction among those affected on a daily basis (06924743393805).

Clever Dialer, the app for spam protection and caller ID, has once again identified and published the 10 most annoying numbers among all reported numbers. From now on, the percentage distribution of spam calls will also be listed in the table. While most telephone calls (73.5 percent) still came from the landline network, the number of calls made via radio networks is also increasing. 26.5 percent of all spam calls were made via mobile in January.
The spam phone numbers in January and the comments of those affected:

- 01637875622 Mobile (competition):
“The core of the call was the question of whether I wanted to continue taking part in a competition. I never took part in a competition.”
- 06924743393805 Landline (Other):
“I have no idea where they got my cell phone number from. It sucks! Since I didn’t know the number and had already had a call yesterday about an alleged competition, I immediately rejected the call and blocked it immediately.”
- 04029996605 Landline (spam):
“I have been receiving calls from the number mentioned for days, except on Sunday. When you call back it is always busy! A moment ago there was guaranteed to be someone on the other end (sounds of breathing!) but then they hung up. I then immediately blocked the number!”
- 022166951485 Landline (Other):
“Apparently a cheap electricity provider from the 'German Central for Gas and Electricity'. The advisor was very rude and couldn't answer a single question. He then insulted me and hung up on me. He had called several times a day.”
- 015212000519 Mobile (competition):
“Newspaper subscription that wants to lure you with a competition…”
- 015221044369 Mobile (competition):
“I asked if my lottery subscription should continue to be debited from my account. I told him I don't play the lottery. He hung up very quickly.”
- 021332463885 Landline (debt collection):
“How can this number keep bothering you even though it’s blocked?”
- 032211076620 Landline (Other):
“Automatic call that ends immediately when the call is answered.”
- +43720116869 Mobile (competition):
“The call came from Austria. But I don't know anyone from the area. Apparently I didn't cancel a lottery contract, which should therefore be extended. I don't play the lottery and where did they get my data? The caller became cheeky. Then I blocked the number.”
