Telephone spam: Once again at the forefront is the competition scam from a Berlin telephone number (03016637169) with 2721 calls in the last 30 days. With 19.08 percent, it is the leader of the top 10 spam phone numbers, followed by a mobile phone number (015215173526) with 16.09 percent. Supposed travel vouchers and lottery winnings continue to be the most popular scams for stealing the private data of those affected.

What is striking, however, is the increasingly aggressive approach.

Reports that those affected are insulted and even shouted at on the telephone (04029996106) are increasing. Clever Dialer, the spam protection and caller ID app, once again published the most annoying phone numbers to block in September.

The spam phone numbers in September and the comments of those affected:

03016637169 (Other):
“You should only answer 2 questions about travel behavior after Corona and then you take part in a competition (cruise). Extremely dubious! The lady with the accent had an old address of mine, she can keep it…”

● 015215173526 (cost trap):
“Apparently my daughter played the lottery. €1200 would now be debited from your account for six months.”

● 069244375048 (Other):
“Calls every 5 minutes. Pure telephone terror. I don't even want to go there. Due to the fact that this “center” or the caller hangs up immediately and you have no chance of even picking up the call, I assume it is spam and rip-off.”

● +442920028363 (cost trap):
“I supposedly played the lottery and am now in the compensation round for everyone who didn’t win anything.”

● 015210126963 (competition):
“Know my name? From where? Annoying calls. They want to let you know that you have taken part in a game and now have to cancel. The notification would come in the mail in a few days, but they would need my address. Hahaha.”

● 06966102716 (Other):
“Wanted to tell me how I can save electricity. I said I wasn't interested. Still try it several times a day.”

● 04029996106 (cost trap):
“Call center that wants to sell you insurance.
Becomes rude on the phone when you point out that you never made a request and gets louder and shouts at you. Simply outrageous and cheeky. When you hang up, they immediately call you again and continue yelling at you. Candidate for blacklist – immediately!”

● 01782482471 (competition):
“Multiple calls with long-winded announcements of winnings without being specific. Supposedly giveaways from the lottery.”

● 04042237949 (Other):
“Calls me several times a day and then hangs up straight away.”

● 045033568906 (Other):
“Alleged electricity provider.
When I asked how to get my number, they hung up immediately!”
