The claim

In Poland there is to be an official stamp with the portrait of Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelenskyj. The proceeds supposedly go to humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

Our conclusion

This stamp was never officially issued by the Polish Post Office. It is a privately created stamp.

The price of the stamp seems to get higher from post to post: In Poland, a blue and yellow stamp with the portrait of Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelenskyj was allegedly issued to financially support humanistic causes, the price per sheet of which also increased enormously: from the normal price from just under €100 to suddenly $1,200 (€1,152) per sheet.
But this stamp was created privately by someone.

The supposedly official stamp

There are several photos of the stamp circulating, making the claim quite credible. There are nine stamps per sheet with Zelenskyj's portrait, for example HERE and HERE and HERE .

The more the images spread, the more claims are made:
First, the sheets were said to cost 500 złoty (around €107), the proceeds would go to Ukraine for humanistic purposes, and a little later the claim circulated that the stamps were limited to 99 sheets and cost $1,200 (around €1,152) each, the sheets were sold out within an hour.

Not an official stamp

would also be officially published on the Polish postal authority's website (see HERE Nothing like that yet, and there is no announcement about it in the Polish press either.

But there is something different on the Polish Post website: a stamp generator (see HERE ). There everyone can create their own stamps with a desired motif. Visually, these will look exactly like the photos above, with white writing on a red background “Poctza Polska SA” and a capital A at the bottom.

The Polish Post also corrected on Twitter that these are not official stamps, but were created by a customer using this generator:

“The stamp with the image of President V. Zelensky was ordered by the customer as part of the “My Stamp” service. This service makes it possible to design a stamp according to your own ideas. @PocztaPolska does not sell these stamps, they are the property of the customer.”

Conclusion

There is no official postage stamp from the Polish Post with Zelensky's portrait. The photographed stamps were created privately by a customer of the post office.
