The Russian embassy in Britain claimed that a pregnant woman in Mariupol was just wearing bloody makeup and acting.

A little story:
Ukrainian nationalists have holed up in a maternity hospital in Mariupol.
Because of this, Russia bombs the clinic (although it claimed not to bomb civilian objects). Then a heavily pregnant beauty blogger runs there, puts bloody makeup on, has her photo taken, changes, puts bloody makeup on again and has herself photographed on a stretcher. Sounds unbelievable? But that is the representation of the Russian embassy in Great Britain! It is also not the same woman in the pictures.

The claims

After the bombing of a maternity hospital in Mariupol, the claim circulated that Ukrainian nationalists from the so-called Azov Battalion had holed up there, which has already been exposed as a false claim ( we reported ).
There are also several photos of pregnant women leaving the maternity hospital. On Twitter, the Russian embassy claimed that it was the same woman:

When asked whether the members of the Azov Battalion had disguised themselves as pregnant women, the Russian Embassy replied that the woman was actually pregnant, but both women photographed were beauty bloggers:

This claim had already been circulating shortly before on social networks, for example on Facebook , but the Russian embassy simply adopted this claim without checking it. In addition, the beauty blogger named Marianna Podgurskaya was not in the maternity hospital at the time of the bombing because the Azov Battalion had asked everyone to leave the building beforehand.
But she had previously been made up with blood

Conclusion

Twitter has since deleted the tweets from the Russian Embassy in the UK because they violated Twitter's rules (spreading false news).

There is no resemblance between the beauty blogger and the woman on the stretcher.
From a purely logistical point of view, this would also make no sense, since according to video recordings there were more than enough pregnant women there, so why should one woman play two roles there? The justification for the message is that she is only wearing make-up, since she is, after all, a beauty blogger and therefore knows how to put make-up on wounds (note: the technique for applying blush or putting make-up on a wound is quite different !) is very far-fetched. The claim that the woman is a “crisis actress” is therefore false.
