Rumors are currently spreading that Quaden Bayles is 18 years old. However, a video from 2015 clearly shows that Quaden is younger.

According to rumors, Quaden Bayles is already 18 years old

Alleged photos are taken out of context.
A TV appearance from 2015 clearly shows that Quaden Bayles is not a teenager.

In recent days, inquiries about Quaden Bayle's age have been increasing. The boy's mother uploaded a video last week in which Quaden wished he was dead because of bullying. ( we reported )

Since then, a large number of users have speculated whether the background is really true and whether the video could be faked and whether Quaden is actually already 18 years old and an actor.

It's about status posts and tweets like this one:

The fact check

No. Quaden is not 18 years old, and alleged photographic evidence has also been misinterpreted.

As our colleagues at Snopes write, the photos all come from Quaden's Instagram account , which currently has the status private. And even if in many photos the boy takes a more “adult” pose and wears branded clothing, this does not automatically change his age.

The photo with the illuminated number 18 is one of a series of photos he posted after Garlen's 18th birthday party. In one of these photos, congratulations are clearly directed at Garlen. How Quaden relates to Garlen varies from media report to media report .

There is also a TV appearance by Quaden's mother and him from 2015. Here, too, he was in front of the camera due to a bullying incident:

According to the calculation, Quaden should be 13 years old when he made this TV appearance. However, the child shown does not look or act like 13, but rather much younger. The publication is an Australian talk show and the YouTube channel is also verified.

Conclusion:

There are currently some rumors and hoaxes circulating about Quaden Bayles, but at least the video from 2015 clearly shows that the boy is younger than he is made out to be.
