The claim
The news of her death was widely received on social media. While some lamented the death of the Queen, a section of users pointed out the atrocities committed by the British monarchy and its violent colonization of several countries. Against this backdrop, a video went viral on social media showing two women in white dresses, one of whom purports to be Queen Elizabeth, appearing to throw food at a group of malnourished and distressed children.
Our conclusion
The video does not show Queen Elizabeth II throwing food at children. The video itself was filmed more than two decades before Queen Elizabeth was born. In reality, this video shows two French women throwing coins for people in Indochina
A Facebook user, whose post has now been shared more than 83,000 times ( here ), posted the video along with the caption: "Here is Queen Elizabeth feeding the black children like chickens....".

In the 42-second video, two women dressed in white can be seen throwing small objects toward a group of children who appear to be scrambling to catch the thrown objects. The quality of the video is poor and you can only see the two women very blurry.
The fact is: the film was made more than two decades before Queen Elizabeth was born
However, the video was filmed more than two decades before Queen Elizabeth was born, according to a complete film catalog listing the work of the Lumière brothers ( here ) - the famous French siblings who were pioneers of filmmaking and cinema ( here and here ). However, Queen Elizabeth herself was not born until April 21, 1926 ( here )
According to the Catalog Lumière website, which shows a still from the film, the clip was shot between April 28, 1899 and March 2, 1900 by Gabriel Veyre - a French director and photographer ( here ) - in Annam, a former French protectorate. which today belongs to Vietnam.

The text reads: “There is a photo with caption by Gabriel Veyre (Jacquier/Veyre collection) that makes it possible to recognize Mrs. and Mrs. Doumer. The two women throw money to the local children.”
The entire catalog of films was included in the UNESCO “Memory of the World” register in 2005 (here).
