There are currently posts circulating on social media and blogs claiming that aid collected for Ukraine will never reach its destination. Instead, they would be disposed of and sent to incineration. Another conclusion is that this would create space for the supply of weapons.
The following screenshot was published on March 11, 2022 in a blog that calls itself “Satireblog”:

also be found on Facebook in a post from March 11, 2022 with speculations about what would happen to donated aid supplies for Ukraine.

So it is claimed that the trucks would be unloaded and all relief supplies would be disposed of or burned. There is also speculation as to why empty trucks would drive to Ukraine.
Action “Joint HELP for Ukraine”
In fact, donations are currently being collected all over the world for people in Ukraine or refugees from Ukraine.
The photos, which were taken in the Upper Palatinate, come from a collection point of an aid organization that brought 220 tons of relief goods in several trucks to the Polish-Ukrainian border, as Merkur reports.
This relief operation was organized by the RKT rescue service association, AiB Hero GmbH and Alfred Böhm Spedition.
On March 2, 2022 there was also a call for this on Facebook :

This lists which items are needed. The addition that no clothing is currently being collected can also be read here.
The facts
On March 4, 2022, the aid convoy set off from the Leonie industrial area in Auerbach towards the Polish-Ukrainian border. The proceedings and the journey were reported in a live blog .
The photos that are now circulating on social media can be compared with those in the Merkur . You can see the arrangement of the piled relief goods, boxes and trucks as well as trees at the edge of the collection point.
Since a lot of clothing was delivered contrary to the call, it was disposed of at the expense of the Amberg-Sulzbach district. These were taken to the waste power plant in Schwandorf to be incinerated.
A statement regarding the allegations was posted on the Facebook page “Joint HELP for Ukraine”

+++ Aid transport Ukraine +++
Since the end of last week, we have been receiving pictures and news that are intended to put our aid transport in a worrying light. In these pictures you can see mountains of packaging materials and old clothes packed in sacks. These are unsuitable donations and leftover packaging waste. These were disposed of according to regulations by the Alfred Böhm shipping company. As is so often the case when donations are called for, contributions are made that do not serve the actual project. For the most part, we have received donations over the last few weeks that are really needed locally. What we also received, however, were boxes full of bikinis, flip flops, ties, wedding dresses, and even lingerie and used underwear. These things don't help anyone in Ukraine. These things also bring us additional work - work that we are currently putting every free minute of our time into. RKT eV Association for Rescue Services and Disaster Protection in Bavaria has been working on a voluntary basis for the “Joint Help – Ukraine” project for over a week.
Now to hear that trucks are being emptied to deliver weapons leaves every one of our helpers stunned. But then we take a breather and carry on, because for many people the war in Ukraine and the flight from their country continue. In a few days we will return to the Polish-Ukrainian border and will position ourselves here for 8 weeks - because we know that our help will arrive.
Conclusion
It is correct that relief supplies for Ukrainian refugees were collected in the Upper Palatinate in order to then bring them to the Polish-Ukrainian border. Despite the exact information about which items were needed and which were not, a lot of clothing - some of it even unusable - was delivered to the collection point. This had to be disposed of.
It is wrong that none of the aid was delivered to the Polish-Ukrainian border and thus to those in need. It is also wrong that this would “cover up” the supply of weapons. The organizers behind this aid convoy are stunned by these allegations.
