Now the Halle-Leaks blog has outdone itself with its memes!
Almost everyone knows the little sharepics from the Halle-Leaks blog, which polarize and tendentate with blatant statements. Basically, quite simple mechanisms are used:
- shorten
- radicalize
- leave out
- interpret
- twist
This common thread runs through the topics, which are generally presented in a very tendentious to radical way. And now there is a new statement, which can be found in the following headline: “CDU-Spahn wants more solidarity – pensions should be reduced so that they are also sufficient for new citizens!”

So pensions should be reduced so that they are enough for “new citizens”? Where does the blog get this theory from? Well, luckily Halle-Leaks answers that directly:
What the Halle-Leaks blog is based on is a quote from an article on Web.de , which is about pension levels in the future. Things get particularly interesting with the quote given because it has absolutely nothing to do with migrants. On the contrary:
“After 2025 it will be significantly more difficult to stabilize the level. A particularly large number of people will retire by the mid-2030s – the so-called baby boomer generation. Then the number of pension recipients will continue to rise in relation to the number of workers who finance their pensions with their contributions.
That’s why it’s still unclear what will happen from 2025 onwards.”
At this point we are talking about the so-called baby boomer generation. Yes, the baby boomers love them. No, baby boomers in this context are not migrants who have/are having a lot of children, but rather people who come from baby boomers.
In Germany this refers to people who were born in Germany between 1955 and 1969 and it is precisely these baby boomers that we are talking about! These many people will retire from 2030 and therefore there will be significantly more pensioners from 2030.
Pension level from 2030
There are now a number of forecasts and models as to what needs to happen to pensions from 2030 onwards so that the level remains stable.
For example, we refer to the mdr article “ What does the pension level mean? “or on the ntv article “ What’s behind the “pension level” ”
