In the event of an accident, all road users should form an emergency lane - at least that's what the theory says. In practice, things look a little different.

We received inquiries about an article that appeared on rbb24 . An emergency doctor is said to have walked for kilometers in Brandenburg because there was no emergency lane - is that true?

[vc_message message_box_color=”green” icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-check”]Short and sweet, yes that’s true.[/mk_info]

In this accident on the A10 near Berlin, an emergency lane was only created for the first vehicle, after which the emergency vehicles, including paramedics and emergency doctors, had significant problems getting through and even had to walk the last few kilometers to get to the two seriously injured people.

What made matters worse in this case was that it was difficult to create an emergency exit within the construction site.

However, the first vehicle came through and the alley should not have been closed.

fine of €200 in Germany .

But not only do you endanger human lives, you also don't get to your destination a second quicker. Doesn't anyone imagine what would happen if you needed help yourself?

Without the ambulance, the recovery vehicle and the police, the traffic jam won't clear up and you won't be able to move forward.

Here's another wonderful film from Miniatur Wunderland:

Author's personal opinion on the topic:

But honestly, do people have to die before you understand how important this is? Are we so selfish and lacking in empathy that even saving human lives is not an argument for creating a rescue lane that doesn't even cost time or money, just thinking along?

Damn it, it's about human lives and not a personal ego problem of vehicle drivers!
