On Facebook there was the page “It's stupid to be dead when everyone is sad”. As far as you can tell, it was run by a club. The postings referred to books that came from this association.
An attentive user informed us about a name change on the site:
“Reports From The Account Management System”
The new name of the page struck the user as strange. – And she was right.
The original page was created in November 2013, as can be seen under “Page Transparency”. The name was finally changed on May 29, 2023. This site is now managed from Italy and Vietnam.

The postings are no longer about books. Instead, various Facebook pages are marked in several posts, the page operators are informed that there is no verification and that they have to act within just 24 hours to avoid the account and its page being blocked.

Even if “META 2023” is listed here as the sender of the post and the page is also called a “META authorized page” with the task of posting “updates with current information on protecting your data”, this has nothing to do with Meta or Facebook !
Accessing login data and documents
The link “ssnord.se” mentioned in the posts leads to a page where we receive a phishing warning. If you ignore this, you will get fake information, a fake Facebook login and will even be asked to provide a copy of your ID.
Phishing and site takeovers
If you enter your login details here as requested, they will be played into the hands of the fraudsters. They can then use the data to access your profile or your Facebook page or group and can use it for further fraud. For example, they can also rename your page so that the fraudulent processes can continue here too.
The fact that different names are repeatedly used for this scam does not change the fact that this is not an official notification from Meta .
Such fraudulent sites appear again and again with different names. For example, we know of “Facebook Support”, “Standards Meta” , “Server Network Registry Corporation”, “Social Network Registry Corporation”, “Fanpage Policy Issues” .
Identity theft
However, things get even worse if you submit a copy of your ID as requested.
Copies of ID cards are a real treasure trove for identity thieves. Our ID cards contain a lot of sensitive and personal data: name, date of birth, addresses, photo and even personal signatures. This makes it easy for criminals to create a new but false “I”.
We have explained how you can protect yourself from this in this article: HERE
Conclusion
Such hijacked pages have been flooding Facebook for a long time. We repeatedly warn not to act emotionally in order to avoid having your account or Facebook page blocked. A quick look at the page transparency speaks volumes. The links listed should also be recognized as not belonging to Meta.
If you or your fan page are tagged in such a post, you should refrain from following the steps mentioned. Meta or Facebook would never contact its users via such a site!
