Bitcoin spam again and again: Contrary to the claim, SIDO does not present a “fantastic financial platform” and is not leaving DSDS for it.

And again, a creator of pseudo-editorial content wants us to believe that a familiar face - in this case SIDO - would drop everything because he makes so much more money with a Bitcoin trading platform.

It's about headlines like this one:

Detailed analysis

Anyone who follows such a (sponsored) status post will reach a fake website that presents itself as a NEWS page. In most cases - as in this case - a well-known medium is misused to give the impression that it is an official report.

Don't be fooled here! The article was not approved, let alone written, by any SPIEGEL editor! It is a fake.

The content that is called “fabricated content” – i.e. pseudo-editorial content – is also fake. This has no truth content, nor does it have to. The headline often has no connection to the content.

In fact, the true purpose of these articles is to help the reader make an investment in a Bitcoin trading platform. There are always corresponding links scattered between the paragraphs that lead to this platform.

This platform is specifically about trading binary options in the form of Bitcoins. This is not illegal, but the fake testimonials from alleged users of the platform speak strongly against the seriousness of the platform! Anyone who is not sufficiently familiar with the subject matter, similar to stock transactions, is unlikely to leave this trade with their pockets full.

SIDO is not the first victim of this scam!

Thomas Gottschalk , Dieter Bohlen , Thomas Anders , Christoph Waltz , Yvonne Catterfeld , Lena Meyer-Landrut , “The Lions' Den”, Wolfang Lippert , Günther Jauch , were also victims of this scam. So the familiar face is unintentionally promoting this type of marketing ploy.

Result:

With clickbait (a familiar face and an incredible success story), the operators lure users to their website and present fabricated content in the design of equally well-known media companies.

Basically, this is about online trading with binary options - although a lot of knowledge and experience is necessary to actually make big money. In addition, such platforms do not pay out profits to users, rarely or only partially.
