Robbed and injured with a knife! The victim is lured into a trap in Berlin via Snapchat!

BERLIN POLICE: After an attack on a young man in Moabit a week ago, four suspects were identified. According to previous findings, the 19-year-old arranged to meet a young person via a social media platform. Last Friday, June 2, 2017, he met her on Putlitzstrasse at around 12:45 p.m., where she is said to have lured him into a hallway. Three young people appeared there and allegedly beat him, injured his arm with a knife and stole his money. The injured man was able to escape and was treated as an outpatient at a hospital.

In the subsequent investigations by the robbery commissioner of Police Directorate 3, the four suspects, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old intensive offender and two 15-year-olds, were identified. One of the two 15-year-olds is known to the police as a neighborhood-oriented multiple offender. Yesterday, the robbery investigators, with the support of colleagues from the Intensive Offender Commissariat of Police Directorate 3, searched the male suspected robbers.

The evaluation of the seized evidence is ongoing. While the two 15-year-olds were released after identification treatment and interrogation, the intensive perpetrator was brought before a judge at the request of the Berlin public prosecutor's office. He received a detention order. The female suspected decoy was questioned and subsequently released.
