Crizpy: Let's put social media where it's most fun.

Santa Clauses are already greeting you in shopping centers, but now it's the season for fools.
Dance guards, Funkenmariechen and Bütten speakers are preparing for the start of the season. On November 11th The new carnival season begins at 11:11 a.m. Then fools roam the streets again.

But why do they celebrate on this exact date?
We don't know exactly. There are only guesses. It's a booze number, a fool's number, as they would have said in the Middle Ages. One more than the 10 fingers, one less than the 12 apostles. Nothing half and nothing whole. A lot of things in carnival have to do with the number 11. Meetings do not begin on the hour, but 11 minutes later, and are chaired by the Council of 11. For those inexperienced with carnival, it is surprising that on November 11th. All hell breaks loose for a day, and then the fools act again as if nothing had happened. It's not until the New Year that the season really begins with the meeting carnival.

In addition, November 11th, St. Martin's Day, used to mark the end of the harvest season. After the work was done, we had a good time. Especially since a period of fasting until Christmas began afterwards.

This is CRIZPY!
