Users are repeatedly tagged on Sharepics on Facebook. However, clicking on the image leads to a fake shop.

Fake shop ahoy: If you too have been tagged in a sharepic on Facebook to be made aware of supposedly great online shops, this article is just right for you.

In the picture, websites of popular and well-known brands are presented and advertised with high discounts:

I have a question.
I (and other friends on the friends list) were tagged in a picture by a friend. I received a notice to check the chronicle, but I didn't pay any further attention to it. Today I found out that my girlfriend neither knows the picture nor tagged anyone. She didn't know anything about it. She changed all passwords as a precaution. No activities, pictures or similar on your profile.
How is it possible that something is uploaded, tagged and posted in your name (with your profile) but nothing is visible on your profile itself?

Fake shops are hidden behind the picture!

Even if the websites look legitimate at first glance, they are not. They look professional and the product prices seem attractive, but when online shops throw out branded products at extremely low prices, you should be suspicious.

All web shops on Sharepic are fake shops!

The nasty plan behind the tags is to draw the attention of the tagged users to the sharepic. If you find interest in the products, you will be guided directly to the relevant fake shops with the link.

How do I actually recognize a fake shop?

Before you allow yourself to be blinded by low prices, you should look for an imprint or a contact page at such shops and use a “Whois” query to clarify who created the page and how long it has existed.

In addition, reputable shops often have several social channels in order to be able to offer their products as widely as possible. Fake shops also want to give this impression and install buttons for Facebook etc. However, these buttons usually lead nowhere - so they are just embedded images.

Last but not least, such fake shops only ever offer one payment method: namely by credit card.

Why are my friends tagging me without their knowledge?

If your friends or you post stupid messages or something similar, then there are usually Facebook applications behind it that your friends or you have approved.

If your friend believes that he has been “hacked”, it is possible that he has fallen into a phishing trap and entered his data into a fake login mask.

No more unwanted markings!

Are you tired of being tagged unwanted? Fraudsters in particular use markings to lead phishing

Unfortunately, there is no direct way to stop a mark, but you can at least have marks submitted for review so that you can remove them yourself. This means that postings of this type do not end up directly on your own profile.
