A video on Facebook purportedly shows the Brazilian national team's team bus after the defeat against Belgium.
People throw objects at this bus. Police sirens are wailing and the bus is moving very slowly. One of the people is wearing a Brazilian team jersey, another person is wearing the Brazilian flag. Enough evidence that the national team is actually sitting on this bus after their defeat?
At least that's what Facebook says. And if it's on the internet, then it must be true, right? Oh, look for yourself:
In any case, we know that the players are not on this bus. It's not the team bus, the video is a few days older.
Ex-President
So at least Brazil is correct as the setting, but the explanation for the rest of the video is completely different. The video shows the protests against ex-President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The bus is part of the convoy with which he was on the campaign trail in March 2018. The protests against the now imprisoned Lula were sometimes very violent and therefore also made it into the German media.

The above photo is from March 26, 2018 and was taken near São Miguel do Iguaçu. The demonstrators tried to prevent the vehicles from passing through, but the police brought the situation under control so that traffic could continue as normal ( compare ).
