In the glittering halls of Silicon Valley, Musk and Zuckerberg, two of the most powerful men in the world, have carved out their own arena. But for some time now it has seemed that the stage they are on is becoming a bit too narrow for both of them. An unusual duel has been announced: a fight in the cage. But while the world waits anxiously, someone seems to be getting cold feet.
Rome's historical backdrop is calling
A few weeks ago, Musk, CEO of Tesla and new owner of Twitter, unequivocally challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight. To our surprise, the Facebook founder immediately accepted.
And just when we thought things were over, Musk announced that the duel would be held in the iconic city of Rome . He has even made contacts at the highest levels, including the Italian head of government and the culture minister. For those who cannot be there, Musk plans to broadcast live on various platforms, including Facebook Meta.
One obstacle after another
But wait a minute. Musk has also hinted that it could be a while before the fight takes place. Apparently a minor medical problem. Some people say that this is just an excuse to gain more time. After all, Zuckerberg is an experienced fighter in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Screenshots of alleged chats between the two are circulating online. The messages? Musk asking for a training session in Zuckerberg's garden and a visibly annoyed Zuckerberg asking Musk to finally make a decision.
Zuckerberg's patience is running out
On Sunday evening, Zuckerberg shared his frustration with the world. “If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to contact me,” he wrote. “Otherwise, it’s time to move on.”
Zuckerberg accuses Musk of not taking the whole thing seriously. Is this just another game by Musk or is he really afraid of possible defeat?
Conclusion: showdown or showbiz?
Whatever is behind this dramatic exchange, one thing is certain: the world is watching. Will there be an epic battle between the two titans or will the whole thing just go down in history as a PR stunt? The time will tell.
But until then, dear readers, stay tuned – this fight could be the event of the decade!
