The claim
The documentary “The Big Reset” is intended to prove in its entirety that the corona pandemic is nothing more than a grand plan to establish a world government and enslave humanity.
Our conclusion
“The Big Reset” should be noted that it was created in 2020 and 2021 - all conspiracy myths in it have long since been debunked.
There are books that are often mentioned or (mis)quoted in certain circles, even though they have apparently never been read. “ 1984 ” by George Orwell is one of them. Or “ The Eyes of Darkness ” by Dean R. Koontz. Or “ The Great Reset ” by Klaus Schwab. A Spanish director named "W" ("Q" was probably already taken) has been making a documentary called "The Big Reset" for the last two years, the title of which alludes to Schwab's book - but "W" certainly doesn't have the book either read and just lists one conspiracy myth after another.
The Great/Big Reset – The mega conspiracy myth
In the documentary “The Big Reset”, all of the conspiracy myths of the last few years are basically compressed into one huge conspiracy myth, all of which are intended to serve as proof that the corona pandemic and everything connected to it is nothing more than a big plan , to establish a world government and enslave humanity.
It would be beyond the scope of the article to go into every little detail, but we will touch on a few points such as:
- PCR tests and their detection function
- Incorrect calculations of lethality
- Crooked comparisons with Belarus and Sweden
- Ivermectin and chloroquine
- Autopsies supposedly forbidden
- Event 201 and Bill Gates, who wants to reduce the world population
- The vaccines are gene therapy
- The vaccinations are supposed to make you magnetic
- The vaccinations can be controlled via Bluetooth
- Vaccinations contain graphene oxide
- The 2030 Agenda proves the “Big Reset”
But before we jump into the conspiracy myths, let's take a quick look at the book that is always mentioned but no one has read: "The Great Reset" by Klaus Schwab.
What is “The Great Reset” about?
In July 2020, Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, published a book with author Thierry Malleret called “ Covid-19: The Great Upheaval .” It is officially available in well-stocked bookstores or online and is not written in hieroglyphs or a secret language, so anyone who wants to can read it.
And this is where there is a problem for many people: it was often not read, but simply the name “Klaus Schwab” and the title “The Great Reset” is enough for many people to create a conspiracy myth and spread quotes that are even does not occur .
But if you don't want to buy the book: it doesn't matter, because the content is based on the motto of one of the most recent meetings of the World Economic Forum (see HERE ), which is about cooperation between global actors to address the direct consequences of the COVID-19 Coping with the crisis: After the pandemic, we should work together globally to make the global economy greener and more social as a whole.
According to Schwab, the corona pandemic is an opportunity to rethink and reshape the global economy: companies should no longer only be interested in maximizing their own profits, but should also give other issues such as environmental protection and sustainability and interest groups such as their own employees a more central role admit. In the book, this idea, which is not really new, is referred to as “ stakeholder capitalism ,” but it is now easier to implement and offers an opportunity to reshape the economy.
Or in short (for anyone who found the last few paragraphs too boring): A rethink and a redesign of the global economy. But no establishment of a world government by a global elite or anything like that - these are pure fantasies of conspiracy mythists.
The conspiracy myths in “The Big Reset”
The very practical thing for us about this Spanish documentary: Although it has only now been released in the German-speaking area (a month earlier in Spain), it was largely produced in 2021. An 18-minute trailer (see HERE ) also circulated in March 2021 to promote crowdfunding.
The experts interviewed *cough* are already a who's where of the conspiracy myth scene. In addition to many Spanish and some British actors who are less well-known in this country, Heiko Schöning , Reiner Fuellmich and Wolfgang Wodarg their say - well-known opponents of vaccinations who repeat their sometimes very absurd myths.
PCR tests and their detection function
The documentation points out that even a virologist confirmed that the PCR test could detect viruses and therefore no infection.
The statement is true in the sense that PCR tests do not detect complete viruses, but they do test whether there is genetic material from the new coronavirus in the organism, i.e. whether you are infected with the pathogen. The PCR test does not show whether the pathogen is still infectious, i.e. whether the person is still contagious or whether the disease has already significantly subsided.
The coronavirus itself is not detected (the tests would be far too expensive and complex for that), but “debris” of the virus is.
- See also our article on the topic: Can the PCR test not detect the coronavirus at all? (fact check)
Incorrect calculations of lethality
The film puts the number of deaths from Covid-19 into perspective by arguing that the media's campaign of "manipulation, terror and blackmail" has made people fear a disease whose "global mortality rate" is “less than 0.07 percent”.
This number is obtained by dividing the number of deaths from Covid-19 in the world by the number of people on the planet. However, this measure does not take into account the actual incidence of the disease in the population that has been infected with it.
The reason for this is that “The Big Reset” doesn’t know between “mortality” and “lethality.” The former refers to the number of deaths from any cause in a total population. The latter refers to the number of deaths relative to the estimated number of people affected by a disease .
The mortality rate for COVID-19 varies greatly depending on the country. As of November 9, 2022, the mortality rate in Mexico was 4.92 percent and in Germany it was 0.44 percent (see HERE ) - but in any case much higher than the 0.07 percent mentioned.
Crooked comparisons with Belarus and Sweden
“The Big Reset” claims that Belarus and Sweden have not imposed restrictions during the pandemic, suggesting they have been largely spared from the coronavirus.
However, these countries have imposed restrictions. In Belarus , President Alexander Lukashenko, in power since 1994, denied the seriousness of the virus and recommended " vodka and sauna " to combat it, while wearing face masks was mandatory on public transport and isolation and testing measures were in place for travelers . Additionally, as of October 16, 2022, 67% of the vaccine-eligible population received a full Covid-19 vaccination schedule.
Sweden adopted a more flexible strategy than other European countries, although it also included restrictions that it later changed .
Ivermectin and chloroquine
“The Big Reset” describes the benefits of various coronavirus-fighting drugs, such as ivermectin and chloroquine.
Ivermectin is an antiparasitic drug used to deworm horses and cattle and was for a time considered in some circles as an alternative treatment for COVID-19. In numerous articles we refuted the claim, and a large study from early 2022 finally refuted its effectiveness.
An acute malaria drug called hydroxychloroquine was also used experimentally to treat COVID-19, but was not very promising. The then US President Donald Trump had mentioned “chloroquine” (i.e. without the preceding hydroxy) as a type of prevention against the coronavirus, which ended badly for a couple : They discovered a drug called “chloroquine phosphate” in their home ", mistook it for the "chloroquine" recommended by Trump and drank it - however, this is a highly toxic cleaning agent for aquariums.
Autopsies supposedly forbidden
It is alleged in “The Big Reser” that the WHO has banned autopsies on COVID-19 deaths.
The opposite is the case. The WHO guidelines ( see HERE , PDF file) clearly state that it is possible to autopsy a corpse where infection with COVID-19 is suspected or confirmed. This requires compliance with certain safety measures to avoid any risk of contamination of the personnel carrying out these autopsies.
In addition, the WHO cannot force its members to follow its recommendations. Even if it had recommended not performing autopsies (which it never did), it would not have the power to ban autopsies from its members.
- We report on this claim in detail here: The WHO has not banned autopsies on COVID-19 deaths!
Event 201 and Bill Gates, who wants to reduce the world population
“The Big Reset” devotes a few minutes to billionaire and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who is portrayed as a man who wants to “reduce the world’s population.” It is also claimed that he predicted the COVID-19 pandemic in the so-called “Event 201”.
The claim that Gates wants to reduce the world's population through vaccination is based on a quote in a 2010 TED talk . There Gates said:
“There are 6.8 billion people living in the world today. That rises to 9 billion. Now if we do a really good job with the new vaccines, health care and reproductive health services, we'll reduce that number by maybe 10 or 15 percent.”
The background to this idea is not that Gates wants to reduce the population, but that he is addressing a reduction in population growth .
Gates already described his thoughts on this in an open letter from 2009 As a result, parents would bring fewer children into the world in order to be supported by them later when they grow old.
reiterated by Gates in an article in Forbes magazine and in a interview with CNN So Gates does n't want to reduce the population , but rather slow down population growth !
Bill Gates had nothing directly to do with Event 201, but the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation did, together with the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum. This was actually a pandemic exercise .
The scenario was about the global spread of a coronavirus in extreme form; those present at the exercise wanted to gain insight into how to react politically and economically to such a pandemic.
The exercise was called “Event 201” because there are approximately 200 epidemics worldwide each year and it was only a matter of time before one of the many epidemics would escalate into a pandemic.
However, drawing the conclusion from that pandemic exercise that the current pandemic was planned is without any basis, simply because the conclusions of the exercise could not be implemented so quickly and the new coronavirus is fortunately not as aggressive as in the exercise.
- We report in detail about Event 201 here: Event 201 – No planned pandemic
The vaccines are gene therapy
Several interviewees in “The Big Reset” agree that the vaccines developed in record time against COVID-19 “are not vaccines.” They call them “gene therapy” – because they supposedly alter the recipient’s genome.
Dr. Vernon Coleman is the most famous promoter of the claim that the vaccines are “gene therapy” – although he also claimed that they are “weapons of mass destruction” .
Literally says Dr. Coleman in a video:
"I know they shouldn't be called vaccines... But if I call them gene therapy, then the people we're trying to reach [...] won't know what I'm talking about."
Gene therapy refers to the targeted modification of genes using recombinant nucleic acids in cells from sick people. The methodology has been researched for decades, but the first approved gene therapy against the immune disease ADA-SCID has only been available since 2016.
The COVID-19 vaccines are mRNA and vector vaccines that do not access the genetic material (DNA) in any way. The mRNA contained in the COVID-19 vaccination only produces the spike protein for a certain period of time and is naturally broken down by the body - the cell or even the cell nucleus with the DNA is not changed at all (see our articles HERE and HERE ).
The vaccinations are supposed to make you magnetic
According to The Big Reset, some vaccinated people show electromagnetism. The explanation for the fact that other people have not encountered the same phenomenon is that they received “placebos” or “expired vaccines”.
The magnetism is said to come from microchips that are said to be contained in the vaccinations.
Now there are different forms of magnetism, the best known is ferromagnetism , which we know from refrigerator magnets, for example. However, this does not work at all with the silicon of chips, they are not ferromagnetic, not to mention that the other components of the vaccination (mRNA, lipids, proteins, salts and sugars) are also not ferromagnetic.
The simplest explanation (which also shows that everyone who believes the videos hasn't been paying attention to physics): adhesion .
adhesion, i.e. the phenomenon in which attractive forces act between the particles of different bodies ( see HERE ), for example in school blackboards to which chalk sticks or paint that sticks to wood - or in light metal objects to the skin.
An additional factor why a magnet or coin sticks for a short time is sweat, grease and oils on the skin surface, which strengthen adhesion - but this has absolutely nothing to do with ferromagnetism!
In any case, the various “evidence videos” are not proof that you have been injected with a chip through the vaccination (solely because silicon is not magnetic at all) - but only proof that these people have never paid attention to physics .
- See also our detailed article: No, the injection site after the COVID-19 vaccination is NOT magnetic!
The vaccinations can be controlled via Bluetooth
According to “The Big Reset”, vaccinated people should also send out Bluetooth signals, which is repeatedly “proven” by dubious videos.
For completeness, Bluetooth is a wireless technology that uses short-range radio waves to exchange data between devices in a small area. A chip that has Bluetooth capabilities must have been introduced with the vaccination.
This is where the question arises when it comes to people: WHERE EXACTLY do you enter the passkey to confirm the Bluetooth pairing on a person, or where exactly does the window with the passkey displayed pop up, which you can answer with “Yes, go “, pair me!” can confirm?
- See also our article: Can it be connected via Bluetooth after vaccination? Uh… nope!
A Russian hacker is even said to have hacked live into the chip that vaccinated people were supposedly injected with every vaccination. However, it was not a video of evidence, but simply a prank that the Russian “hacker” played on people who believe that vaccinations contain spy chips!
See our detailed article here: Russian hacker tracks vaccinated person live? (fact check)
Vaccinations contain graphene oxide
Graphene is derived from graphite, the building block of pencil leads. It is a promising nanomaterial with high electrical conductivity that has been the subject of numerous conspiracy myths and is also on the list of claims of “The Big Reset”. It is said to be present in COVID-19 vaccines, which are said to be responsible for “magnetizing” people and “controlling” them.
There are actually experimental studies on using graphene oxide as a potential carrier in vaccines (see HERE ) or even in the fight against cancer (see HERE ), but this method is still very far from practical use, let alone in the COVID-19 vaccines.
We have refuted an alleged study and a video that supposedly detect graphene oxide in vaccinations in detail in two articles:
- Graphene oxide in Pfizer vaccine? What nonsense is this again?
- No, Covid-19 vaccines do not contain graphene oxide!
The 2030 Agenda proves the “Big Reset”
Towards the end of “The Big Reset” they mention the “threat” posed by the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, which supposedly seeks a global dictatorship “in which the word freedom is but a fond memory.”
The 2030 Agenda consists of 17 goals and 169 targets that world leaders want to achieve by 2030. These include, among others: gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, sustainable consumption and production and climate action.
Ageda 2030 has nothing to do with a Big/Great Reset. Although there is overlap in both topics, they are not the same:
- The Big/Great Reset: Idea of global cooperation to overcome the COVID-19 crisis while reforming the global economy - motto of the World Economic Forum for one of its meetings
- Agenda 2030: Goals and targets that world leaders want to achieve by 2030
The 2030 Agenda has also existed since 2015, and that agenda has never been a topic of conspiracy myths, while “The Great Reset” has been a concern of conspiracy myths since mid-2020.
- See also our detailed article: The Agenda 2030 circle – Not a “symbol of evil” (and not a Great Reset symbol either)
Conclusion
“The Big Reset” should be noted that it was created in 2020 and 2021 - all conspiracy myths in it have long since been debunked. We didn't go into some of the smaller allegations in the article, but the above explanations should be detailed enough to show that "The Big Reset" is actually just a "The Big Flush".
