After a long time I'm sitting at the head of my table again and I have to say it feels good and right. Why I was silent for so long, well let's put it this way, there are things in life that take away your strength, you switch to pure existence, when the virtual impacts come from all sides, then you often don't have the strength for even the simplest things for those who are actually the most fun, at least that's how it was and is for me - I just keep quiet and try to share my problems with as few people as possible, a small, close circle of confidants. So much for that, but the construction container is from the yard, the garden defies the first cold winds and is overgrown in terms of building, small snakes have made it a biotope, somehow not bad if you have a specialist in the house almost every day, so don't panic if a bicycle tube suddenly moves "it's something local, it's harmless, oh how cool it lives in the bushes." "Well, that clears up what we're going to do with the bed, it's so bliffing."
Of course I haven't been lazy to read in the last few months, no, not now, just without the necessary momentum, I should have written about that too, the nursing shortage would have been a great topic, Jens Spahn and as I understand him, also from personal experience, so not that I once met him, I mean the experiences with the nursing shortage, especially in homes, and another no, I am not a home resident in the sense that I live in my own home and yet I have had several unpleasant experiences in the last few months about the condition of private homes and the treatment of residents there, shocking, but that shouldn't be the topic here and now, maybe I'll do something about it too, just not here and now.
Hobby revolutionary
Today it should and will be about something more current, more short-term – a call for a boycott. Yes, a boycott is great, my little revolutionary soul is cheering and is already preparing torches and pitchforks inside, let's see who we can push through the virtual streets this time.
“Large protest against the rising petrol and diesel prices on Monday, November 26th. Don't go to petrol stations; anyone who needs to fill up should do so on Sunday, November 25th.
Send this protest to all your contacts to take a stand against the high gasoline and diesel prices.”
Phew, you have to let it drip comfortably through your frontal lobes first, it's like a good wine, it gets better with time, but you definitely need at least an intermediate level of maturity at the school of life otherwise it won't work. Let's take it easy, so I'll roll, you can, but take it easy.
Gasoline and diesel prices are too high, that may be true, but people can have different opinions on that. As an average consumer, I definitely understand the approach of getting from point A to point B as cheaply as possible and that as a private person you also like to be comfortable, is also understandable, you can quickly find this coziness on your doorstep in your own car, no matter how tidy or cluttered the box is, it is a mobile extension of your own four walls.
In addition, due to the deterioration in public transport availability, people are often simply forced to drive their own car. Taxis would be an option, but only until you realize that the Klapskallis actually charge a 5€ surcharge for a ride in a wheelchair. Since then, this option has only been a real alternative for me on very special occasions, they may have their reasons , but none of them will really convince me. When I was at school, my small village located within the town was connected to the outside world by buses every hour from morning to evening. Nowadays it stops after 6 trips and the bus stops usually remain empty. It's logical that you use your own vehicle, after all, students carpool.
But I can also understand the thinking that the price is still too low considering the environmental problems associated with the exhaust gases. The car industry's tricks, which have become known again and again in recent years to falsify consumption values, which have had no significant impact on the industry itself, clearly show us that we cannot rely on politics and certainly not on the industry in this regard . Especially since you have to keep in mind that even if super-economical 2-liter cars suddenly came onto the market, which reflect the name not only in their displacement, but also in their actual fuel consumption per 100 kilometers, only very few people would be able to afford such a gasoline or diesel vehicle . The times when the Volkswagen was still a people's car are long gone, but it still retained the name.
then just with electricity
There are some promising approaches in the area of electric vehicles, but we must not forget one thing: we are only shifting the problem as long as politicians fill their pockets in the area of electricity generation through term extensions for the electricity lobby and there is no consistent investment in the renewable energy sector. Germany has also let itself outpace here, and what nonsense we gave it away, through those unspeakable extensions of terms and cuts in investments.
So hurrah, a revolt against gasoline prices! HA! We'll show them. A concerted action against the high fuel prices will send a clear signal to those up there that “NOT WITH US!”
While I slowly feel something like an absolute demo mood arise within me, an amused voice comes through to me from the depths of my subconscious, i.e. internally, only I can hear, that's why I'm writing this down here then you can read along, but you have to imagine it , but you can also choose the sound and gender and even the dialect yourself. So that voice, so to speak, virtually places its hand on my shoulder and calmly, calmly, patiently says the words “Boy, would you like to read this through again, think about it, let it flow through your brain before you send anything further? Just a fleeting idea of mine, but I guess it couldn't do any harm." Since this voice is blessed with wisdom every now and then, I gave in, read and let it flow and lo and behold, it worked.
Now seriously people, who shares something like that and especially who falls for something like that?
Hey guys, gas is too expensive, we all don't fill up on the 26th, but we all go on the 25th! Great idea, I'm also in favor of having enough space at the gas pumps in German-speaking countries on the 26th, which would only be deserved because there will be absolute chaos the day before. Overcrowded gas stations, you might think a catastrophe is looming, petrol hamster purchases... but empty gas stations on Monday, if you like, you can now imagine one or two tufts of rolling grass blowing through the gas station..
There are only three possibilities where something like this comes from:
1. Someone is really bored and wants to fool the nation
2. a computer science professor wants to show his students how quickly nonsense comes back
or
3. In German-speaking countries there is ONE in number 1 gas station tenant/owner who has an urgent appointment on the 26th, but no representative is willing to step in for him
OK, there is another variant of 3.
4. There are TWO gas station owners/lessees in German-speaking countries who want to get married and all other gas station owners/lessees are invited, but in order to make that happen on the 26th, they quickly asked all vehicle owners to fill up on the 25th, then They can all go to the wedding on the 26th
The question “who shares something like that?” is just as interesting.
How short of a mental leap do you have to make to allow yourself to be spontaneously and mediocrely carried away into spreading this eloquent commercial shift from Monday to Sunday? Are they the same awake minds who cheerfully object to Facebook's terms and conditions by diligently sharing a picture?
A commercial relocation will not hurt anyone, especially not the corporations, they get their money on the 25th and not on the 26th, which is basically completely lame. What if I don't have time on the 25th but want to take part in the protest, can I fill up on the 24th or with a delay on the 27th? I want to show goodwill...
Apart from the fact that with a real tank boycott you would first of all hit the gas station tenants again, families who make their living with it, you would only hit the corporations if you changed your consumption or gave it up completely and not if you postponed it.
Consistent use of alternative means of transport, bicycle, bus, train, changing your own driving habits. Even just walking for short periods if you can. THAT could possibly reach the top if many people do it, otherwise it simply relieves the burden on your own household budget .
But this protest approach is actually only good for one thing, or bad depending on your own point of view, you could suddenly have a completely different impression of the supposed mental performance of the residents of the contact list “Oh look, YOU of all people are sending this to me without comment? I wouldn’t have expected that from YOU, I should lower my expectations a bit..”
Or you get people involved in a discussion about when, like if I want to join in but don't have time to fill up on the 25th...
Honestly, if I still had to fill up, I would go there on the 26th, finally have room at the gas station...
