What? Mimikama has a music editorial team? Yes, this is probably the most underpaid job at Mimikama.
It's me, my colleague from the music department. I basically get nothing here. money anyway, but not even any form of fame . But I notice everything.
I follow everything that's going on at Mimikama. Admittedly, I don't contribute anything to the research , I just give my musical input on all the topics.
I think I also have fewer fans than everyone else on the team, but that doesn't matter . I can happily do without worn bras or vague death threats

Things are quieter in my little music department . Although sometimes I really could scream. Crying out because of the hoaxes , disinformation , or deliberate manipulations that are out there on the internet.
That was my 2019
This year was exciting because it was my first year in the music editorial department at Mimikama. I was very lucky to be able to comment on various topics with music tips.
On some topics I would have liked to comment more radically , but my good taste in music prevented me from doing so . On the other hand, it would have entirely appropriate .

But it was also quite exciting to see kept cropping up on Mimikama this past year . In addition to classics and stupid chain letters like Momo , where even the authorities in the charts this year that no one really had on their radar 12 months ago: Greta!
There are no songs for Greta!
a catastrophe for a music editor : Greta and FFF ( Fridays For Future ) are basically new musical territory . Really now, how are you supposed to accompany Greta Thunberg with music? I don't know it .
the most problems with the biggest topic of the year . But I'll work on it or hope that someone will compose something for it .
Typical topics in music editing
But it wasn't just Greta . There were also so many “ old friends ” who appear every year. Now between us little monastery students : When the hell will these bullshit fakes that are supposed to prove supposed Islamization stop?
me the most was this fake from Stephan Brandner (AFD) , who, according to his own statements, intentionally photographed such an Advent calendar from behind in order to claim that the part had been renamed .
Really now, how shitty is that? But I'm holding back now. I hold back all year anyway , because I would like to send a “ greeting ” from the music editor as a hidden comment , but Mimikama’s upper thumb holds me back .
Best of from the music editorial team
secret missions this year . Sometimes a little more elegant like this , sometimes really flat like this (someone even asked how I was able to dig up such a thing). But if you want to know which of my favorite posts this year is true, then this is the key to the secret .
And now I'm sitting here alone , just before the end of the year. I just googled what the difference is between New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve (yes, I know, that doesn't quite fit, but the song is awesome) and am thinking about what my next year at Mimikama will look like.
Will I continue ? Will I retire? Was it right? Was it wrong? Well, in the end only my colleague from the music department can give the answer:
Your colleague from the “special” editorial team . By the way: If you paid close attention, you might have noticed which was my favorite “band” when I was a teenager.
