You! Yes, exactly, you! YOU are wanted by the police!
Don't you believe it! Do you feel safe because you haven't committed any crime? You weren't driving too fast? How? Don't you have a driver's license? So were you driving illegally? Well, if the police find out about this, they are obviously looking for you publicly!
At least this is the impression given by a posting on Facebook about which we received inquiries:
"DANGER!!!
The German police have been looking for a Simson speeder for several days who overtook several cars in the city center at massively excessive speed. He was speeding at 83 km/h (in urban areas / 30 km/h permitted). Here is his Facebook profile, if you know where this person is, we would be happy if you let us know!”
The Facebook profile is linked below: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id10000023234235

That’s YOU… right?
You probably already guessed: This inserted link always to your own profile. No matter who clicks the link: you always see yourself, never anyone else.
This link serves as the basis for this: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php
Now you can add a combination of characters after it as you wish (and to make the whole thing a little more authentic) using the link “?=”. Example: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?=11droelfundso . It doesn't really matter what you say: whoever clicks always ends up on your own profile .
Of course, this can be used to create all sorts of jokes. Starting with harmless “ This person is very important to me, everyone should see that ” through to malicious claims... and even joke-like searches like the ones above, which unfortunately are taken very seriously by inexperienced users.

Conclusion: Stay cool!
Don't freak out straight away, don't be outraged straight away, but compare first: Does the link posted match the link in your own profile? This address is displayed when you click on your own profile on Facebook. If this link does NOT match the link specified in the text, then you are dealing with this joke link and can be sure that it is not intended.
Furthermore, anyone who includes this link in a joke must be prepared for the fact that not everyone will understand the joke. Depending on how dramatically such a text is structured, other people can feel attacked and even slandered, which can of course have consequences.
