A photo of a baby with a tumor on its torso is currently being shared on Facebook. However, the source and background story are missing.
We are currently receiving many inquiries about a photo of a baby whose trunk shows a tumor. Facebook pages repeatedly use such photos as clickbait to collect likes and/or make their page more popular.
The background story of the children shown is rarely or never revealed - because that is not the focus of the site operators, who steal photos and misuse them for their own purposes.

So here's the story about little Sanaul Sharif, whose photo is making the rounds on Facebook:
The fact check
The photo appeared in Bengali reporting in December 2019 . You can see two-month-old Sanaul Sharif, who was born with the tumor in October 2019. His parents couldn't afford the treatment and so the tumor continued to grow day by day and now weighs around 3 kilograms. The family comes from Barguna district in Bangladesh.

Daily Nayadiganta website , the child is suffering from pain and doctors have advised surgery to remove the tumor. However, this operation is quite expensive by Indian standards.
The child's parents sought the help of charitable people of the country, including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Conclusion:
The child shown was born with the tumor. Unfortunately, he continues to grow and now weighs three kilos. To pay for the operation, they asked for help.
It is not known whether Sanaul has already undergone surgery. We hope that the money could be collected and that the little one will soon be completely healthy and without pain.
Of course, there are also positive aspects to sharing a photo publicly and wanting to make as many people as possible aware of the fate. But you should also note the facts and the source of an image.
