Donald Trump, President of the USA, is never at a loss for “quick-witted” sayings.

He has been particularly fond of his “favorite enemy” Mexico since the election campaign. But does Trump actually go so far as to rudely stroke the Mexican governor's cheek?

Thanks to the integrated Google translator, we can already read what is supposedly happening:

“Meeting between Trump and the governor of the city of Mexico

(sent by a Brazilian friend): a video that will certainly not be shown on television in the USA (or France)!!!”

Still images alone would be a little boring, so just watch the video here:

For everyone who can't or doesn't want to see it:
The "Mexican governor" offers Trump his hand, but shortly beforehand he pulls it away, provoking Trump by playing with his tie before the US president loses patience and tells the "Governor “one bangs/gives a waddle/one peppers/slaps/gives a slap in the face.
Even though this post has been up on Facebook for over a week, it's still being shared almost every minute, and quite a few users are taking the spectacle (because that's what it is) at face value!

Let's get ready to rumble!

The author of this posting is only right on one point: That is actually Donald Trump. But that's about it as far as the truth is concerned.

We very subtly point out a small detail in the video:

WRRREEEEEEESTLEEEMAAAANIAAAAAAA!!!

All fans of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) already know exactly why Donald Trump is fighting in the video, especially who he is fighting with, because it is by no means the governor of Mexico.

The gentleman in the middle is “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, a former WWE wrestler, and the alleged governor is none other than Vince McMahon, chairman of the WWE media company and an occasional wrestler in his own league.

The WWE is, as the name suggests, entertainment, pure entertainment. In WWE wrestling, all fights are always tied into a storyline to increase the entertainment value. So it happened in 2007 that a feud broke out between two billionaires, namely Donald Trump and Vince McMahon, which would reach its climax on April 1, 2007, the “Battle of the Billionaires” at Wrestlemania 23. Since Trump now not necessarily was and is in shape to play a professional wrestling match, it was decided that two representatives would enter the ring instead, Bobby Lashley for Trump and Umaga for McMahon. The billionaire whose combatant lost had to have his hair shaved off live in the ring.

For anyone curious about who got rid of their beloved hair, here's a recap of the battle:

Incidentally, pictures from that fight were used for a fake some time . The still image from an alleged news site shows Trump lying on the ground, who is said to have suffered a heart attack.

Conclusion

Yes, that's the real Donald Trump. No, he is not fighting with the governor of Mexico, but this almost 11-year-old video shows a staged argument as part of an exhibition fight between Donald Trump and Vince McMahon, owner of the WWE.
