According to Twitter, only the Android version was affected. The vulnerability allowed attackers to view non-public account information or take control of an account, for example by sending tweets or direct messages.
The microblogging service emphasizes that there is no indication that the vulnerability was actually used by cyber criminals. But also warns that it cannot be completely ruled out.
