Do you know the Tor network ? This is a specific technique in which every call or query over the Internet goes through different nodes, meaning that the IP constantly changes, which guarantees a certain level of anonymity. However, this was difficult when using Twitter because the short message service interpreted the constant IP change as a hacked account, which meant you were constantly logged out.
But this has now come to an end: There is now a special page for Twitter in the Tor network, which also allows users in Russia for whom Twitter is blocked to use the short message service.
Tor: A little piece of the Darknet
To access the Tor network, you need a Firefox-based browser, which can be HERE . Not only “normal” websites can be accessed via the browser, but also pages that are specifically designed for the network and cannot be found via Google and other search engines.
These special websites do not have easy-to-remember addresses, but rather a series of letters and numbers and the ending .onion.
How can I access Twitter via the Tor network?
As described above, you need a special browser, which you HERE . If you go to Twitter.com in the Tor browser after installing it, you will immediately be directed to the new page
By clicking on the note you will be directed to the Tor version of Twitter. The .onion address is:
https://twitter3e4tixl4xyajtrzo62zg5vztmjuricljdp2c5kshju4avyoid.onion/
After Facebook and Twitter were blocked in Russia ( we reported ), the Tor network is now a good way for users in Russia to continue to find out about current events in Ukraine via the short message service.
