The digital world is once again the scene of mysterious activities. A thunderstorm, a little boy pointing at dark clouds, and a dubious object briefly flickering and lighting up - all wrapped up in a video that made the rounds on numerous social media platforms, especially UFO and conspiracy sites .

But what is really behind this eerie phenomenon? After extensive research, we managed to solve the mystery and came to the conclusion that this “UFO” is actually the result of a clever PR strategy.
The search for the truth
While some online commenters were quick to exclaim "Oh, a UFO" or "The aliens are coming," we decided to investigate further. Armed with a still image of the video and a screenshot, we plunged into the depths of Google Image Search.

The search took a long time and required a lot of patience, but we finally found a name: Zack Vitiello. As it turns out, Zack is the creative mind behind the PR strategy. He is the creative director of Vitaly, a Toronto company that produces engineered stainless steel accessories.

The Secret of Vitaly Design or: The Invasion of the Alien Accessories!
Vitaly was founded in 2011 and has since established a reputation for innovative design and sustainable practices. Each of its pieces could contain remnants of machinery, skyscrapers or car parts, constantly influencing the company's design practices. But what does all this have to do with our supposed UFO?
The answer is Glyph, the company's latest collection. A little over a year ago, Vitaly decided to redesign his logo to better reflect the brand and its vision. The glyph was designed as a symbol that reflects Vitaly's brand DNA and points to the future, but at the same time is modern, forward-thinking, timeless and evocative. The name “Glyph” refers to both ancient pictograms and modern computer characters – it is a symbol that conveys meaning without words.
The creation of the UFO videos
The idea for the UFO videos came about as part of the PR strategy for the glyph's unveiling. Instead of simply saying, “Hey, look at our new logo,” Vitaly wanted to reveal the glyph in a more dramatic way. They imagined the glyph as a kind of extraterrestrial being that mysteriously “landed” on Earth. They put this idea into practice in a series of videos in which the glyph mysteriously appears in the form of crop circles, strange bird formations, and even in people's eyes. ( Source )

In the modern world of social media, the facts often seem blurry. But in this case, the search for clues leads directly to the source. The original video that caused so much excitement can be found on Vitaly's official TikTok page. There you can watch the high-resolution video and admire the company's unmistakable logo in all its mystical glory. Clear proof that creative marketing strategies can blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy and captivate us.

The Internet's reaction
The creative campaign was a complete success. The video quickly went viral and sparked a wave of discussion and speculation. The majority of viewers took the video at its word and suspected extraterrestrial activity. But despite all the conspiracy theories, Vitaly's aim was never to stir up fear or spread false information. Rather, Vitaly wanted to stimulate thought and draw attention to his new logo.

The story reminds us that not everything that circulates on the Internet is always what it seems at first glance. It also reminds us of the importance of examining and questioning information before accepting it as truth.
In a world dominated by digital media, it is easy to become overwhelmed by information overload. But if we take the time to seek and understand the truth, we can be better prepared for what lies ahead. And who knows? Maybe the next “UFO” is just another clever PR stunt.
