The environmental pig video is causing quite a stir: the account of a freelance WDR employee takes up the topic and provokes with the term “Nazi pig”.
Nazi pig tweet: At this point we start with the closing words from our previous article :
Yes, WDR published this video. There are now also various sharepics on social media that are being distributed.
The hashtag Umweltsau is also being hotly debated on Twitter, so one can assume that this topic will remain active for a few more days.

In fact, on Saturday (December 28th, 2019) there was a quite striking reaction on the Twitter account of freelance WDR employee Danny Hollek . The “environmental pig” discussion has become the “Nazi pig” discussion. This tweet has sparked the discussion even more:
Let's talk about the grandparents, those who are now upset about the #environmental mess. Your grandma wasn't an #environmental pig. True. But a #Nazi pig.

The account is a verified account. According to the verification, you can assume that the owner of the account is actually the person described.
Nazi pig controversy
This means that the initially relatively manageable discussion about the original video has finally escalated. Whether on Facebook or Twitter: the comment columns are exploding.

Users are horrified by the Nazi tweet and expect consequences. Many voices are calling for the freelancer to be fired, while others are specifically attacking the WDR. Still others comment that they will display the owner of the account or have already displayed it.
Especially on Twitter it can be seen that both terms, environmental pig and Nazi pig, are now the two top trends.

The tweet was not deleted on Twitter, although many users reported it. Feedback from Twitter states that this tweet does not violate its guidelines.
The situation is likely to be very similar with alleged advertisements, as the tweet does not specifically violate the personal rights of individual people or specifically insult individual people or harm their honor.
What's next?
Of course, we are now in the middle of the weekend. What happens next remains to be seen. One can assume that WDR will react to the Nazi pig issue.
The employee's account has been silent since Saturday, December 28, 2019, 4:01 p.m. Before that, however, there were a lot of tweets about the topic, some of them mocking.
As in our first article, we will end this one by pointing out that we expect further reactions.
