A large number of Google Pay users are currently affected by unauthorized debits. The amounts, some of which are very high, vary and are mainly debited via PayPal in the name of TARGET - a US retail company.

Those affected sometimes report with screenshots about the sudden debits with a number attached . Often three or four debits are made in quick succession. For some the sum is different, but for others it is repeated exactly. These are amounts from less than ten euros to well over 1,700 euros.
