The operators of the dating platform “Unjected” had a business idea of a slightly different kind. Only people who have not been vaccinated against Covid should meet here. There is certainly a certain target group, although the app, with only 110,000 users from a total of 85 countries, cannot hold a candle to Tinder or similar singles platforms. Nevertheless, there are people here who have one thing in common: They have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 and do not want to meet someone who has been pricked at any price. “Unjected” is aimed at “unvaccinated people who believe in medical freedom, freedom of choice, freedom of speech and bodily autonomy”.

On this platform you can not only make contacts, but also offer or search for “mRNA-free” sperm or blood donations. You can read on the website that “a fertility bank and a blood bank for unvaccinated people” are also offered.

In August 2021, the app was removed from the AppStore due to violations of COVID-19 guidelines. We reported HERE .
However, the app is still available for Android smartphones.

Data protection was neglected

As has now become known, there was a data leak in which all user data was exposed. However, this leak occurred due to gross negligence on the part of the developers. According to "GeopJr" , a programmer and security researcher, the site's admin dashboard was openly accessible to everyone. This dashboard allows administrators to add or edit pages within the website or to administer user accounts.

GeoPJr was able to access user data for each member of the website via a specially created test account, including name, date of birth, email address and (if provided) home address.

He could also make almost any change to the site, such as adding or removing pages, giving free subscriptions to paid services, or even deleting the entire database of post backups.
It is estimated that the website has around 3,500 users whose data was accessed.

The Daily Dot emailed more than a dozen users at the address on file to verify the authenticity of the data leak. None of the users contacted responded directly. However, one user confirmed by posting Daily Dot's email on Unjected's feed. Another user contacted Daily Dot via Twitter.

A user vents his anger on Unjected when he discovered his home address had been published:

“I'm trying to be as kind as possible when I say take the app down now before you end up in court and don't release it until you've properly tested it in software development. I take my privacy and security very seriously and your app has suffered multiple trust, security, privacy and security breaches.”

Another user replied that he was redirected to the backend of the website after logging in. This showed his email address, IP address, browser information and more. The Daily Dot can confirm this, although Unjected had already stated that it was working on a fix at the time.

The users of “Tinder for anti-vaxxers” probably had to accept “Unjected, but not incognito”.
