Wuhan has been under quarantine for a week to limit the spread of the corona virus. The residents sing to escape isolation.

Video from Wuhan gives you goosebumps! Residents encourage each other! – The most important thing at the beginning:

  1. Wuhan has been quarantined for a week
  2. Depressing mood among the residents
  3. Singing together to avoid isolation

Wuhan under quarantine

To date, most of the cases of the corona virus have occurred in Wuhan, and this is also where most of the deaths have occurred. Experts suspect that the virus was first transmitted from an animal to a human at a fish market. Wuhan is now under quarantine to avoid or at least limit the spread of the virus.

The residents describe life in the city of eight million as very depressing. Nobody can currently leave the city, most residents remain in their apartments. The streets are deserted. Isolation is spreading among the residents. To avoid this, they find their own means.

Residents sing against isolation

Videos of this campaign are going viral. The residents of Wuhan sing the national anthem together from their balconies in the evenings or shout messages through the night. The videos appear spooky, but are intended to give courage to persevere.

Encouraging shouts haunt the night and are intended to encourage the residents.

Some write that residents are chanting “Wuhan, more oil,” while others correct and explain that the shouts mean “Come on, Wuhan!” or “Wuhan, stay strong!”

Corona virus is keeping the world in suspense

Not a day goes by when the novel lung disease isn't the number one topic in the media. Lufthansa is suspending its flights to and from China due to the spread of the virus. Swiss and Austrian Airlines flights are also affected. This decision is valid until February 9th. Just yesterday, seven Austrians were brought back to Austria from the epidemic area.

The German Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) warns against scaremongering through fake videos about the corona virus.
