Assessment of the claim:

A spokesman for the World Economic Forum confirmed to the German Press Agency that there is no such contract. WEF website also

Fact check:

The Peoples Voice, a website known for false news . (Note: As of August 8, 2024, the website is unavailable.) This website , formerly known as “Newspunch,” has a history of repeatedly spreading misinformation . The alleged contract and a corresponding tweet from the WEF do not exist and the alleged tweet also has an inappropriate font and position.

The German Press Agency (dpa) has already refuted false reports from “The Peoples Voice” several times, which often concerned the WEF (we recently picked up a case HERE The dpa also checked claims about water rationing and false quotes and exposed them as false.

The World Economic Forum is not authorized to make legal regulations for minorities or to conclude contracts in this regard. Such questions are being discussed worldwide by organizations such as the United Nations. It also remains unclear who the alleged “LGBTQ+ leaders” are.

Additional Information:

  • The United Nations is the international organization responsible for the protection of minorities worldwide. Its member states are committed to the UN Charter , which is considered the “constitution of the community of states”.
  • The protection and legal recognition of minorities is regulated at the global level by the UN and national legislation, not by the World Economic Forum.
  • The spread of misinformation about the WEF and LGBTQ+ issues is part of a broader trend to spread misleading and false information to sow distrust and division in society.

Conclusion

There is no evidence of an agreement between the WEF and LGBTQ+ leaders to recognize pedophiles as a protected minority. The claim comes from a source known for false reports and has already been refuted several times. It is important to critically question information and rely on reliable sources in order to avoid falling victim to disinformation.
