New WhatsApp function coming soon?

Many WhatsApp users have been hoping for a certain function for a long time that is not yet available on WhatsApp. According to the WhatsApp Beta Info Blog, this will soon change. It's about WhatsApp messages that delete themselves!

Self-deleting messages

In the future, users will be given the opportunity to set a timer for their messages. After the set time has elapsed, the messages delete themselves. Many users find this function very practical. For example, you can send sensitive messages that the recipient can see and read. If you know that others will have access to the recipient's smartphone at a later date and should not read this message, you can control the length of time the message is displayed by setting a time window.

Available time slots

Screenshots were leaked to the WhatsApp Beta Info Blog, showing that the options range from “one hour” to “one year”.
