Victory revoked due to doping? And then the Focus logo? We take a closer look!
Yes, the start at the World Cup wasn't particularly glorious for the German team. And with a defeat like that, the preliminary round is of course not particularly easy. But a message is currently spreading on WhatsApp saying that Germany will still win.
No, of course the whole thing is fake, but someone did a clever job. At least to a certain point. Of course, Germany will not count the game as a victory. This message is simply a lure to encourage recipients to click on the link.

Nice try!
What's really successful at this point is that the Focus logo is displayed at the top. This gives this message a news character. By the way, you could have done this with any other website, because the way it works is incredibly simple: WhatsApp always generates a preview image of the first web address that you send in a message. In this case, someone secretly prepackaged the address focus.de BEFORE the long link at the bottom of the message. However, the whole thing is in the hope that the recipients will click on the long link.
Old joke
One can already guess what will emerge at this point, as this type of joke has appeared several times in the past. In these older cases, for example, it was about more child benefit or a tax refund, which you could get via the link shown. In fact, this photo can also be seen here when you access the link:
So it's a joke. The image means: “I fooled you”. If you now compare the link used in one of the old jokes with the current Mexico joke, you can see that it is the same link.
Let's see in what context this image will appear again in the future.
