Writing with fraudulent intent
Some consumers receive mail from the debt collection headquarters in Cologne. The letter suggests to those addressed that they have not paid an invoice.
Consumers should transfer the amount of 3,800 euros to a foreign account (Netherlands) to BALOGH UNTERNATIONAL within 7 days. If you do not pay, you will be threatened with a seizure at the bank.
The consumer advice center advises:
- Don't let yourself be unsettled or threatened!
- Don't pay!
- Don't respond to the letter!
