Tricks and jokes: This is how Facebook users are fooled!
Some things already existed offline: greed, for example!
When something is free, then the big racket begins. Everyone wants something, the big crowd starts. So why not exploit this greed online? This is exactly what the Facebook page “Your Opinion Counts” does and attracts thousands of users with supposed product tests, a chatbot and an anti-competitive website.

What happens there: First, users are promised a product test.
This is nothing new, but what is interesting in this case is that every user who comments on this post will receive a private message within a short time. We did the test and a chatbot contacted us straight away. This refers to a link where you should register for a product test. At this point you already suspect: This is a rip-off!
Of course, you won't find a form there for registering for a product test, because the term is just window dressing at this point.
Rather, this is a link to an affiliate competition, i.e. a (legal) competition in which you release your own data for sale. After taking part in such a competition, you should not be surprised if you are increasingly confronted with advertising on the phone, by email, SMS or post.
As in many other places, this alleged product test is nothing more than an attempt to lure you into an affiliate, i.e. a partner program for which the person who installed this competition receives a commission for each newly registered participant.
In the end, however, these competitions are nothing more than address trading. It's about “lead generation”, i.e. the creation of complete and correct data sets that are sold for advertising purposes. In this respect, you can quickly see for yourself how low the potential profit possibility is.
A network?
At the same time, the Facebook page “Your opinion counts” (which has the designation @wasfindsie as contact information) links to a blog at the address “wasfindsie.
de”. This blog mainly consists of copied content and press releases on various topics that can be used to generate interactions on Facebook. However, a central article entitled “10 COMPETITION TIPS” is very interesting. This article has only one purpose: to encourage readers to enter any type of competition completely blindly. Tip 4, for example, is complete nonsense:
COMPETITION TIPS NO. 4: JOIN LOTS OF COMPETITIONS!
This competition tip is actually quite simple: it's all about the masses! The more competitions you take part in, the higher the probability that you will win. So: stay tuned and take part in lots of competitions!
The website also lacks a valid legal notice. Since it is not exclusively private, but is aimed at a broad audience, the operator is acting in an anti-competitive manner and would therefore be subject to a warning.
The operator address
Of course, in moments like this you always wonder who is behind such a website.
In the case of a .de domain, you can of course look at the website denic.de and find out the owner details. Here you will be given an office address in Bremen as a contact person for information as well as a domain owner in the Netherlands. To what extent the administrative contact person can actually be found there remains to be seen, as the same contact person has several websites and the owner data of the other websites refer to a Dutch address and a Dutch telephone number ( compare / compare / compare ).
Here you will find various websites with different functions, such as a web shop, a recipe page and a fun app page. All of these sites have something else in common apart from the domain owner: they ALL do not have a valid legal notice.
In addition to the website “what can you find. de” the same person also runs the website “einfach-schnell-gesund-vegan” according to denic.de. de” Of course, this website offers everything again… just not a valid legal notice.
