Report teachers who have noticed right-wing populist or even right-wing radical statements in class.
This is how the task of the central registration register of school institutes (ZeSch) can be interpreted. The ZeSCH describes itself as a welcome text on its website as follows:
Welcome to the Central Registration Register of School Institutes (ZeSch), the nationwide registration register for educators who endanger democracy.
In the following, we want to take a closer look at what exactly is behind it, where inconsistencies arise and why this idea should be viewed particularly critically.

Statements from the website
What the website claims:
Hate speech, propaganda, false allegations: educators are increasingly manipulatively attacking classroom activities and other school contexts by taking up right-wing populist and right-wing conservative narratives, which puts our democratic values at increasing risk. They thus hinder the discussion of current political issues and violate the mandate to teach children and young people how to deal critically with currents that threaten democracy.
Below there is a form that you can use to provide detailed information about teachers. At least this is what the form fields suggest:

What exactly happens with the data sent is unclear.
Inconsistencies:
The page quotes a volunteer supporter named Gerlinde Pauli, who, according to ZeSCH, is a teacher at a secondary school in Berlin. It is reproduced in the following words:
“Unfortunately, there are always ideologically driven colleagues among the teachers and staff of schools and educational institutions who confuse education with political manipulation. We should not tolerate this any longer if we care about our democracy.”
At least the picture that is supposed to represent Gerlinde Pauli does NOT show Gerlinde Pauli.

Named owners
The initiator of the page is a group called “Stay behind Foundation 2018”. The term is not without meaning, as there is an entry about this term on Wikipedia, for example. There you read:
A stay-behind organization or stay-behind (from the English stay behind , “stay behind/behind”; leave-behind organization or rollover group ) is a secret paramilitary resistance organization that is behind the in the event of enemy occupation of a state or parts of it The front is supposed to provide intelligence and carry out acts of sabotage against the occupiers.
However, we do NOT assume that these are one and the same group. In our opinion, the addition of “2018” in the name suggests that the name and its meaning are being played with.
Behinders?
At this point in time, it is not publicly clear who operates the central registration register of school institutes (ZeSch). In this respect, we consider the site to be an action started by activists, where you can actually fill out a form to report “anti-democratic” teachers.
Visually speaking, at least after pressing the “Report teacher” button you get feedback that the information has been received.

We will continue to work on it at this point and “drill” a little to find out more precisely who is behind it.
Critical!
At this point the normal debunking ends, but we would like to say in a few sentences that we view these types of reports extremely critically. We consider the anonymous reporting of educators to be very dangerous and problematic. The method used here, even if it describes itself as a measure against enemies of democracy, is itself extremely inhumane and anti-democratic. What presents itself as a central registration register must be permanently stopped, as in this form it can represent an extremely manipulative intervention in everyday school life.
Furthermore, it can put educators in great (unfounded) danger if they suddenly appear on “lists.” Nobody knows how and when such lists can be used.
We therefore ask you not to use the central registration register of school institutes (ZeSch)!
