Ludwigslust – In Ludwigslust, a 13-year-old stole a car on Friday night, causing several damages in the city area. No one was injured, but property damage amounted to around 20,000 euros.

According to current knowledge, the boy took a key to the family vehicle around midnight and then drove through the city with his 15-year-old friend.
Here he lost control of the vehicle several times and damaged, among other things, two parked vehicles, a courtyard wall of a residential building, two bollards and a street lamp.
They then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. However, the police found the two of them a short time later at the 13-year-old's home address.
He admitted the crime on the spot. He is now being investigated for, among other things, unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident without permission. Source: Ludwigslust police station
